SECURITY UPGRADE SUMMARY
Although located in a low-crime area, this home had previously been targeted by burglars. Our pre-installation assessment identified the lower rear elevation as the most vulnerable part of the property. We addressed this by installing steel-reinforced, internally glazed windows with eight-point locking systems, Shield laminated security glass, and Ultion locking cylinders. These upgrades significantly strengthened the home’s weakest access points and improved its overall visual deterrence.
The result was a verified increase in security score from 58 to 82 - a 41% improvement, independently assessed before and after installation.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY UPGRADE SUMMARY
Prior to installation, the property had first generation double glazing, but our pre-installation EPC assessment identified opportunities to reduce heat loss and improve overall efficiency. Following the SuperHome upgrade, the property achieved a four-point EPC improvement, moving to the top of Band D. More importantly, annual carbon emissions were reduced from 3.4 tonnes to 3.0 tonnes. The result was an 11% reduction in carbon emissions, independently measured before and after installation, delivering a more comfortable home with a lower environmental impact.

PROPERTY VALUE UPGRADE SUMMARY
Before installation, the property was independently valued at £450,000. While already well presented we were able to significantly improve the ‘curb appeal’ particularly with a beautiful front door and conservatory refurbishment. Following completion of the SUPERHOMES improvements, a post-installation valuation placed the property at £475,000. This uplift reflects improved security, energy performance, and overall buyer appeal. The result was an 5.5% increase in market value, independently assessed using local market knowledge before and after installation.
