The finish of the product is the final step of installing our quality products in your home, and to us is one of the most important aspects of the whole window installation process. Done right it really makes your new windows stand out and, by using our higher standards, will keep them looking good for many years to come.

We thought it best to get one of our award winning fitting team, Will, to explain in his words how we go about this.

“Before adding the finishing aesthetic touches, the window is first sealed using silicone and/or expanding foam. This ensures that the window is weather proof and thermally efficient even before the final make-up.

We will then liaise with the customer in order to achieve the desired aesthetic and finish. This may be with or without, or sometimes a combination of our selection of architrave and trims. Trims come in a variety of width, profiles, textures and colours.

Frames, glass and handles are cleaned of any marks and smudges; with any dust and debris from fixing the fame being removed from the inside of the sashes.”
