We believe that we have the very best installers and fabricators in our industry, with decades of experience, excellent customer service and a desire to complete their work to the very highest standards. We feel so confident that this is the case that we realise their skills are too good not to share. Therefore, we decided we would ‘grow our own’ installers and fabricators through an apprentice scheme.

We have had the pleasure of working with Glass Fenestration and Training Solutions Ltd and we are delighted to announce that 3 of our apprentices have all recently gained Level 3 and Level 2 NVQs. We believe this is the future of our business, we want to ensure the high standards set by our current teams continues, we are super proud of all our apprentices and we are excited to see how they continue to grow under our guidance.

A message from the Tutor:

“It has been a pleasure to work with Finesse windows in helping local young aspiring window installers and fabricators alike. As an Assessor/tutor, seeing them progress from little or no experience to installing/producing window products independently, whilst thinking for themselves and having a substantial regard for health and safety at the same time, gives myself a sense of achievement, as it does the apprentice a trade and qualification for life. At Glass Fenestration and Training Solutions Ltd, we hope to work alongside Finesse Windows for many years to come in developing the skills and knowledge of local Apprentices, and it is refreshing to see local companies such as Finesse take pride in adding to the industry with a kind of fiscal approach to helping the industry retain and add to current skill and supply levels. There are many dying trades, but with companies like GFTS Ltd and Finesse Windows around, hopefully Glass and Glazing will not be one of them!”

"Jamie is a pleasure to have on the installation team. He is always prompt, courteous and helpful. He has spent the last 2 years learning new skills, developing problem solving abilities and fitting the entire range of products that we offer at Finesse. Guided by one of our most senior fitters, who he now continues to work alongside, Jamie is a prime example of the high standards and quality we expect of our Finesse fitters. A message from our Managers: Dillon - Level 3 NVQ in Fenestration Installation

"Dillon has worked very hard over the last 2 years to achieve his qualification. He started at Finesse expressing a keen interest in building and was placed with one of our conservatory base teams. Here, he expanded his knowledge into building practices and truly learned the product, from the bottom up. To further expand his knowledge, he is now working alongside a Finesse installation team. Here he has continued to grow and learn new skills, fitting a variety of products and being an essential member of the team. Well done Dillon and I look forward to seeing you continue to grow, here at Finesse."
