Before

Our customer in Kings Heath wanted to replace the 5 sided bay and the unusual 5 sided full height bay along with other windows at the property but retain the unique features of the timber original. The customer wanted to improve security and energy efficiency but not lose the essence of the features that gives the home its character.

After

The timber windows were replaced with R7 Residence windows, which are a timber alternative, complete with a timber weld that have been meticulously designed to replicate the original sashes. The original glass was carefully restored by a local crafts person who took them apart, repaired and cleaned the glass and then carefully encapsulated them within a modern unit. They are now protected and will be preserved for many many many years to come.
